Playwood is a new Emilceramica collection that extends an invitation to experiment during the design process. Its ceramic material is inspired by oak wood and comes in a range of three sizes, the pieces in a game to be played with shapes to create infinite compositional layouts.
From PLAYBRICK in size 5.3x30 to the innovative coffered PLAYTANGRAM 100x100 by way of the classical 20x120, available in Light Oak, Pure Oak and Intense Oak colours. These shades can be used either individually or combined. In both appearance and ‘feel’, the ceramic material is a very close replica of the original wood, an achievement enabled in part by the exclusive DIGITOUCH production process. The warm and neutral wood shades match other Emil collections for even greater design freedom.
